All internal combustion engines have a design flaw!

The crankshaft drives the oil pump that pressurizes the lubrication system.

And every time the engine is started, several hundred revolutions of the crankshaft occur before pressurized oil is present to lubricate the bearings.

This design flaw results in dry bearing abrasion each and every time the engine is started.

If this could be avoided up to 40% to 60% of total engine wear would be eliminated.
 

With the AutoEngineLube kit installed Filtered oil is stored in the Accumulator tank ready to pressurize the engine oil system on the next startup, BEFORE the first revolution of the Crankshaft.

  Thereby Eliminating The Dry Bearing Wear Caused By Metal To Metal Contact!  

With the preluber installed, as soon as the ignition key is turned on the low oil pressure light will turn off. And the oil pressure gauge will start to register pressure before the starter engages!!

                                                              THE WAY IT WORKS  

The storage tank is connected to the engine oil galley with a 3/8-inch hydraulic hose where the pressure-sending unit enters the block.

When the engine is running the oil pump fills and pressurizes the accumulator while the Digital Controller insures that the highest pressure and volume of oil is stored ready for the next start up.
The next time you turn the key on oil is instantly returned to the oil galley to pressurize it just as though the oil pump was running.

                                     Main Bearing And Rod Bearing knocking Prevented!

That's right with the AutoEngineLube Pre-Lube kit installed, the Main Bearings, Rod Bearings, Camshaft Bearings and Turbo Charger Bearings will be pressurized and separated before startup.

Another benefit of having the engine oil system pressurized before startup is that the Hydraulic Valve Lifters will be adjusted before the first revolution of the Crankshaft.

Turbocharged engines will benefit as well by having the Turbo Bearings pressurized and separated before wear can begin at startup.

If your engine is turbocharged it is spinning over 30,000 rpm when the key is turned off.
