AutoEngineLube Engine Prelube System Could Save Your Engine! All internal combustion engines have a design flaw!
The crankshaft drives the oil pump that pressurizes the lubrication system.
And every time the engine is started, several hundred revolutions of the crankshaft occur before pressurized oil is present to lubricate the bearings.
This design flaw results in dry bearing abrasion each and every time the engine is started.
If this could be avoided up to 40% to 60% of total engine wear would be eliminated. With the AutoEngineLube kit installed Filtered oil is stored in the Accumulator tank ready to pressurize the engine oil system on the next startup, BEFORE the first revolution of the crankshaft.
Thereby completely eliminating all of the bearing wear due to dry bearing abrasion! With the preluber installed, as soon as the ignition key is turned on the low oil pressure light will turn off. And the oil pressure gauge will start to register pressure BEFORE starter engages!!
Main Bearing and Rod Bearing Knocking Prevented!
That's right with the AutoEngineLube kit installed, the Main Bearings and Rod Bearings will be pressurized and separated before startup, and a much heavier straight weight oil can be used which will result in higher engine oil pressure and produce less Bearing Noise during normal operation.
AutoEngineLube engine prelube system will work for all auto, car, truck, marine, motor home, suv, industrial engines, gasoline engines or diesel engines and motors.
Turbocharged engines will benifit as well by having the turbo bearings pressurized and seperated before wear can begin at startup.
The kit uses Marine grade hardware and fittings ideal for all boat engines or marine inboard engines.
This engine accessory will pay for itself many times over.
The storage tank is connected to the engine oil galley with 3/8-inch hydraulic hose where the pressure-sending unit enters the block.
When the engine is running the solenoid valve is open and oil is forced into the tank. As the back pressure equals the engine oil pressure it stops entering the tank.
And when the key is turned off the solenoid valve closes before oil can escape the storage tank.
The next time you turn the key on the pressurized oil from the accumulator tank is returned to the oil galley to pressurize all the bearings just as though the oil pump was running, even if it was months since the last time the engine was operated.
